The Ediblescapes Community Edible Forest Garden is both a productive public garden and a living outdoor classroom. Through the Ediblescapes Learning Network, visitors are invited to observe, participate and discover how healthy food systems emerge from healthy relationships between people and nature.

Welcome
Located within Country Paradise Parklands, Ediblescapes is a community-managed edible forest garden that has grown through nearly ten years of collective care, experimentation and shared learning.
Unlike a traditional botanic garden or museum, the garden itself is the exhibition. Plants, fungi, insects, soil organisms, seasonal changes and people all contribute to the story.
Visitors are encouraged to wander, observe, ask questions and enjoy the garden at their own pace.
THREE WAYS TO EXPERIENCE
Explore
Visit independently and follow the Ediblescapes Learning Trail using interpretive stations, QR resources and seasonal displays.
FACILITATE
Teachers, community leaders and tour organisers can guide their own groups using the Learning Trail and rotating Interpretive Lenses to encourage observation, discussion and reflection.
DISCOVER TOGETHER
Book an Ediblescapes gardener to share the story of the garden's evolution, practical growing knowledge and the ideas behind the Learning Network through a guided learning experience.
Education Visits
Schools, early learning centres, universities and vocational education providers are invited to learn with the living garden.
Rather than delivering a fixed lesson, we encourage curiosity, observation and conversation. Programs can be adapted to suit different ages, curriculum areas and learning goals.

No. Entry to the garden is free.
Do I need to book?
Individuals and families can visit during normal park opening hours. Groups are encouraged to book ahead.

Can we eat from the garden?
Please enjoy observing the garden. Harvesting is only undertaken as part of organised Ediblescapes activities or with guidance from garden volunteers.
